Like bioflavonoids, gamma-tocopherol, lutein, billberry extract, and
sulphoraphane, to name just a few.
You objected and said I was "wrong," and based your judgment on the dates at
which some nutrients were discovered and added to supplements.
But that was just another of your strawmen arguments, Harvey.
It makes no difference whatsoever to my argument whether bioflavonoids were
added 50 or 60 rather 30 years ago. I was using "30 years ago" as just a
rough estimate of the time at which many additional nutrients were
discovered and added to complete supplements. In terms of
human history, the 20 or 30 year difference is an irrelevant blink of an
eye.
50 years from now our supplements will no doubt contain even more nutrients
found in paleolithic foods.
Nutrition theory is following paleodiet theory, not leading it.
