Cumulus Conference 2003 - Estonia Art Academy
Friends,
I will be in Tallinn, Estonia from May 7 through May 11th at the Cumulus
Conference at the Estonia Art Academy.
"CUMULUS is an European association of art, design, and media universities
<http://tmo.uiah.fi/cumulus/>http://tmo.uiah.fi/cumulus/, and the CUMULUS
conference audience includes educators and researchers in art, design and
media from over 40 institutions across Europe as well as from China, Japan
and Korea.
"As the CUMULUS conference is titled VALID (value in design) conveys
valuable and unique contribution Artists and Designers make in challenging
conventional practices and assumptions by proposing new, radical and
provocative possibilities."
If anyone is in close vicinity to Estonia or has any information or
suggestions for me while visiting this part of the world, please let me
know! I've never been to Russia or Lativa -- so I'm excited to learn about
this culture.
