A novel I would recommend is "Ralph's Journey" by David Pizer. I admit the author is my employer, but even before that was the case I deeply enjoyed this story about a man who searches for the answers and finds it in cryonics. It is both historical (gives a good sketch of the fifties), romantic and science fiction. And I might add highly autobiographical! lol

We bought enough food to feed a small army, but considering the young construction workers who built the place are coming, I expect the food to be gone in no time.
