WOW! I said before that this was cool, but I hadn't
read very far into it. It must be promoted to a full
way-wicked-too-cool status.
This was so very insightful, I made some copies and
distributed them to those in the office that think
about these things. I realized that some techniques
I had previously thought of as classical probability
theory was actually related to Bayesian: set up a
matrix representing the possibility space, then ensure
that all the squares add up to 1.
Still, without the actual equation I made the rose-
flowers error and got 8.4% instead of 7.8%.
Upon seeing the actual Bayes equation, it takes on a
certain beauty and profoundness. Truth!
