Reason only describes the world; it is silent about /values/.
Reason can only tell you what kinds of future are possible, and
how to achieve them. It says nothing about which ones are desirable.
It is entirely possible to live a totally rational life that values
tradition, nature, and death. Transhumanism explicity values
complexity, technology, and immortality. Extropianism also values
freedom and emergent order.
