Well, from TV news I understand the sanctions had nothing to do with the
regime but with the WMD. Supposedly Russia is set to veto UN votes to
remove the sanctions unless it can be proved Iraq has no WMD. This would
force the U.S. to prove a negative if there actually are no WMD in Iraq.
It's all quite hilarious really.
