I've not seen these mentioned on the list yet, but I *am* way behind in my
reading....
The Reith Lectures were inaugurated in 1948 by the BBC to mark the
historic contribution made to public service broadcasting by Sir John
(later Lord) Reith, the corporation's first director-general.
The subect of this year's lecture series is The Emerging Mind
This year's Reith lecturer is the noted neuroscientist Vilayanur S.
Ramachandran, Director of the Centre for Brain and Cognition at the
University of California (San Diego).
