    Interesting. Lamin A seems to be involved in a lot of stuff:

    The intelligence part might simply be due to extremely enriched rearing.
    Parents *care* for these kids, and they might get a boost from their
    "adult" appearance. A quick medline search does not suggest any tendency
    towards extra intelligence, just unimpaired intelligence.
