    No problem, I think there is interest.

    The HUD was a M1 display bought from http://www.tekgear.com/

    It is relatively heavy, so it would require far more than a pair
    of glasses. Most likely a cap is a good solution (I even tried a
    german WWII helmet, which actually worked well but had some
    aesthetic drawbacks :-)

    Yes. The Toshiba has batteries, but both the twiddler and screen
    want power from somewhere else.

    320x240 in BW, which isn't very much. Font sizes has to be rather
    large to make text visible, so the effect is a small window of
    text.
