Franco-German interpretation is accurate. It's surely not objective.
There is an old saying, "It matters whose ox is gored." In the case
of France and Germany it appears their ox is getting gored big time.
But, according to Al Jazeera and the Jordanian Times the leadership of
the surrounding Arab countries are also getting gored. I saw an article
saying that bringing Iraqi oil back on the market at expected levels of
production will cost OPEC one trillion dollars over the foreseeable future.
I also saw a piece about one of the irregulars that had gone to help Sadaam
saying they had to be careful the Iraqi citizenry didn't shoot them in the
back -- the Iraqis didn't want Sadaam.
