I've got no idea about the "link" claimed in the bottom half of the
page, but the top photo is perfectly consistent with what i saw in the
tv footage i was watching at the time. It was very obvious that there
was almost noone there since whenever the camara even half zoomed out,
there was empty plaza shown.
This does not contradict the general claim that there was "jubilation in
Baghdad" at the fall of the statue, just that the tv footage should not
be supporting evidence.
