           No, I might call you biased and partisan but never pessimistic. But
    where ever you got your viewpoint I admire your willingness to speak out.
           But you did say, "the educated citizens of liberal democracies."
      Would you mind telling us who these paragons are? Surely not the French
    and Germans.
