    Consider the millions (billions? trillions?) of dollars spent on
    advertising. Or read Aliester Crowley. Advertizing/brain
    washing/Magick works. It may not work the way a fantasy story protrays
    it, but it works. This is the key secret of any system of
    Magick/religion/advertizing/brain washing: Invoke Often!

    That you aren't willing doesn't make that much difference. (Though it
    makes some.)

    You could also read the history of Patty Hearst and the Symbioneze
    Liberation Army. She wasn't a willing participant, but it was
    effective. Don't think you would have fared any better.
