I'm finding it extremely frustrating that my occasional posts to this list
take an hour or more to show up back here at my computer. I know several
other list members have been experiencing comparable delays for months, and
attributed it to their oversubscribed service providers. A year or so back,
my unimelb service flung email back and forth around the globe at what
seemed literally the speed of light. Now it's taking the scenic route. What
gives? I do note that many other posts responding to any thread appear
almost immediately, so not *everyone*'s sharing this lag.
