Morris has requested that I forward the following message.
I do so with no review of the data potentially provided.
I would strongly urge people to do their own PubMed searches
and other evaluations in order to properly self-evaluate
such treatments. It would seem fairly obvious to me that
efforts to prevent being infected (e.g. surgical masks)
are cheaper and perhaps more effective than the application
of drugs to boost ones immune system (at least at this time).
However, the perspective Morris offers is not without merit.
We don't have any idea as to how bad things might really get.

Subject: Levamisole for immune potentiation against SARS

I have since 1976 used Levamisole as an immunopotentiator on a weekly
basis. Levamisole is a cheap readily available drug as Tramisole for
worming livestock. It is also used as an adjuvant for immunotherapy
of colon cancer together with the cytotoxic drug 5FU. The difference
is one of 70X (seventy times) price.

I just buy the boluses, grind them and fill "0" size caps with an
average of 160 mg of active ingredient.

This provides the proactive immune stance I think would benefit many.
