Would you call this then a binary bioweapon, like a binary chemical
weapon? It sounds like it is an ideal scalar weapon: a primitive
attempt at a designer disease that kills only those that are infected
by both organisms. You could deliver the weapon via two people, each
infected with only one of the required organisms, coming into contact
with the targeted individual.
As such, there seems to be, in fact, significant problems with
'backsplatter', given that the target, once infected, can infect
others, unless the organisms have a built in rapid decrease in
virulence with time.
