I consider this (cypherpunks) source to be the best for tracking
the erosion of freedoms occurring at an accelerated pace. U.S
government abuses are discussed most often in that forum, so,
yes, it is slanted, in that respect.
While not discussed as often there, other governments
are close behind in their quick erosions of freedom, though.
Tony Blair just won the 2003 UK Big Brother Award, for example.
