I suggest revising the current web-page set of list posting guidelines
    (http://www.extropy.org/forums/listrules.html) into a short, friendly 1-page
summary that bulletpoints the most pertinent points, and posting said
summary to the list once a month. That works far better than suggestions
made in a more ad hoc manner. Since you plan growth, plan for new members
    and list turnover...

    list members,

I spoke to some list members off-list and the suggestion is made that we use
the subject of "[WAR] (add your subject line here)" as the topic for all
posts that pertain to Iran and the world regarding the current war
    situation.

"[POLITICS] (add your subject line here)" should pertain to transhumanist
politics and not to the war with Iran and the world's view of American
    policies.

Let me know if anyone has a better suggestions. This is a list for you all
and I want to make sure that this suggestion is accepted and will be used.
So, if you want to do otherwise, speak up now. If not, please use [WAR] and
    [POLITICS] as expressed above.

Currently, E.Shaun is not moderating the list, so the onus falls on me.
This list is an uncensored list, but we do need some organization of posting
    and remember the list guidelines.

    Thanks,
    Natasha
