           Would you be so kind as to quote the relevant sections of the law
    allowing the powers that you list above? The various law enforcement
    agencies have always had the physical power to do any of the things you list.
     It is obvious they have that physical power as they have more manpower and
    guns than any single individual.
           However we have always had the courts and Habeas Corpus on our side to
    prevent police agencies from getting away with that conduct. Are you
    contending that the power of Habeas Corpus has been over turned? Could you
    show us the relevant language that overturns our protections.
           Given the amount of hubbub on the Internet about this act, and the
    extent to which you have discussed it, I am sure you have all the relevant
    sections handy and ready to cite for our enlightenment.
