Yep, /that/ shit has to stop right now. I'm disappointed in the
courts for not coming down strongly on police when they try to hide
from public scrutiny: any police attempt to shut off a camera is
/per se/ abuse, and should be grounds for discipline. Any suspect's
confession that's not on videotape should be inadmissable: there's
no excuse anymore. Likewise, execution of arrest warrants should
be videotaped, or face a presumption of abuse.

Absolutely. The first company that produces a small, shoulder-mounted
video camera with a wireless link to an off-site recorder should be
given tons of money.
