Elizabeth Smart, the teenage girl who was kidnapped
from her home at knifepoint and was recently found
alive and well nine months later, has captured a
nation's full and undivided. There are many
questions that spring to mind, none of which has
even a reasonable suggestion of explanation, such
as why couldn't she escape in all that time, and
why she denied her identity when found by police.
Either way, this kid has multi-jillion dollar
book and movie potential, just from the story
of her nine months in apparent captivity(?).
Not a bad payday for nine months of one's life.
Why the heck else would she stay with the
captors?
