I saw how well it works: a reporter went through the check-in (were his
bags were searched), and then proceeded to buy a full 6-person set of
forks, spoons and knives, inside the "protected" area. Just some
boxcutters will do.

Still, no one (except you :-)) is even thinking about avoiding them, as no
one is thinking about grounding all airplanes and destroying all
