Mike, rather than quote Keisling from his resignation "letter"; let me just
say to him: Adios Muchacho, may the road rise up to greet ya!

I have an extremely low opinion of the State Department. Basically you
graduate GW University in DC and head for State or the Foreign Service. An
institution which housed the likes of the Dulles brothers and George Ball,
will never rate high in my book (At the Mountains of Madness).

I am wondering how prominently the Keislings and Bouchers who have
proliferated at State for so many decades; and have been so wrong in their
policy analysis and predictions; are left in place to mess things up even
    more?

Pardon me while I with hold my tears for Keisling and his ilk.
