    I agree, this whole set of affairs is absurd. Duct taping windows and
    stocking up on non-perishable foods....utter, complete, total fucking
    bullshit. All of it.

    When the whole duct tape and plastic sheet bit was being touted by the govt,
    the local news was reporting that many large chain retailers in the area
    were out of duct tape....
