    Most readers of this list can already think of all the
    usual objections (present ability to read neural
    tissue into digital storage, present portability of
    equipment that could do so, et cetera), so I'll only
    state a couple of the non-obvious reasons why this is
    a complete and total hoax:

    Sorry, even a sheep's brain would likely take more raw
    data storage than that, except maybe with some
    extremely lossy compression. (Then again, with these
    guys, they'd probably never notice.)

    No, she'll be a sheep. To most people, a sheep is a
    sheep. Were it a human, or even one of the few
    non-humans that have been taught (extremely limited)
    language skills, one could quiz it about specific
    facts that Dolly knew but a new sheep would not
    reasonably know. As it is, comparing mental state
    will not produce enough fidelity for most people to
    believe. (I know I won't.)
