I'm not very thrilled with those arguments either, though. Sure, it's
true that he signed the armistice and violated it, but frankly I
think such niceties of international law /should/ be as officially
meaningless as they are in reality. An honest anarchy is far
superior to the pretense of law, and recognizing the validity of the
disarmament agreement would be to recognize the legitimacy of the UN.
