    Nah, your advi_c_e isn't terrible, just cloud-cuckoo-land idealism. Harsh
    realities won't going away by saying "can't we all just get along."

    The problem in these opinion pieces, pro-war/con-war/maybe-war, is that we
    will never know the cause and effect triggers. If we do nothing in Iraq then
    we may still get hit. Saddam can point towards Osama bin Laden and vice versa.
    Bottom line for me is: the best defense is a good offense.
