My point is that those other trillions of Johns are not the John who is
reading this message, as evidenced by the fact that any one of them could
cease to exist at this moment while you would continue to exist as though
nothing had happened. Indeed many of those other Johns are dying at this
moment from accidents or illness and such. Their demise does not imply your
demise, so certainly they should not be considered *you*.
