This is not to say that my analysis of the Constitution and original
intent is congruent with my preference on the matter. While I do
consider the Constitution of the US to be the most libertarian
architecture for government yet enacted into practice, I do not
consider it the be all and end all, either. I generally fall somewhere
between the literal meaning of the Constitution, in the frame of
original intent, and the sort of opinions of someone like L Niel Smith.
The only reason I don't agree with him all the time is that I don't
think that some of his proposals and ideas are reasonable or well
thought out.
