Heres a report I found about the relative dangers of alcohol and marijuana
with regards to driving.

To summarize: Marijuana impairs judgment but less than alcohol, with one
joint having less affect than a glass of wine. Marijuana impairs only one
of the many categories of things that alcohol impairs, and people under the
influence of marijuana generally realize that their abilities are impaired
more so than people under the influence of alcohol. Surprisingly, a person
who is moderately drunk might have a lower chance of having an accident if
they also smoke.
