### I took the estimate of 210,000 sq.miles for energy equal to 1/3 of
transportation needs at face value, and multiplied by ~ five. Just to
illustrate that even with some pessimistic assumptions, there is enough
space to switch the whole contry to wind power, if it becomes the cheapest
option. That is, assuming the whole thing won't bog down in malicious
lawsuits.

### I agree. The amount of water that would be electrolyzed would be tiny
compared to the volume used for flushing toilets, much less agriculture.
