This is the 80'th update of my fly longevity experiments. Average
temperature was 21.6 C during this run.
Lemon essential oil was found to be quite poisonous to flies. All
flies appeared to be dead after just a few hours exposure to lemon oil
fumes.
However flies appeared to thrive on alcohol free beer (Clausthaler
malt). This result looked good enough, that it is being followed up on in
run 84, to see if this is a chance finding.
