Very sad!
This morning one radio commentator in my area reread Reagan's speech
given after the 1986 Challenger disaster. I found that moving and
appropriate.
It also opens the question of the ISS, since grounding the Shuttle fleet
would put a huge delay in further
construction and a dent in supply and crew rotations. Solyuzes can
still bring up supplies and crew and some construction can still be
carried out.
As many of you know, I'm a critic of government space programs, but a
tragedy is still a tragedy and a loss is still a loss.
