What if... somehow a miracle occurs and Iraq becomes
a stable nonthreatening good neighbor. Then it is overrun
by environmental extremists that would make U.S. based
greens blush. They are determined to maintain all the
native species, and not allow proper water management
in order to maintain all those... drylands?

What do greens do if a desert is the native condition?
Do they make sure almost nothing grows? Do desert
nations instead have browns?
