What I said was that I found the current vote astonishing. That was because
I was too hasty in assuming that something run by Time.com would reflect the
votes of Americans on line. If I'd noticed that it was the European edition,
I'd have taken it for granted.
By the way, the data about the vote was not a factoid. It was a fact.
Probably an irrelevant and access-biased fact, as it happens, but a fact.
