So I'm rather excited about the space-based planet finding
interferometer. Here's a rather naïve question: Will we be able to
use this device to perform spectroscopy on the light reflected off the
planets we find, and thus get a sense for the compositions of their
atmospheres? If not, how far away is a device that could do this?
