Regarding the first point:
1) CIA supported Pakistani ISI and Afghani muslim warriors[1]
2) CIA directly supported bin Ladin[2]
3) 2000 stinger missiles given to Afghan holy warriors[3]
... and there're tons more of evidence. I only stay to the more reliable
