For those who like to sing the praises of international law and tout its virtue and wisdom consider this; since Qaddafi became dictator of Libya it has invaded the country of Chad, tortured its own citizens and bombed a jumbo jet over Lockerbie Scotland killing 270 innocent people. The UN thinks it has found a way to deal with this rogue nation, Libya has just been voted (33- 3) chairman of the United Nations Human Rights Commission. And now you think this same organization will be able to deal with another tyrant who wants to make weapons of mass destruction?
