Some time ago, I mentioned that I had transcribed Eric Drexler's closing
remarks at the Foresight Senior Associates Gathering 2002. I said that I'd
be glad to provide the transcript to any Foresight or IMM Senior Associate
if I could get clearance from Foresight to so do.
I have good news and bad news.
Good: I've been informed by senior Foresight staff that Eric is using my
transcript as the armature for a journal article.
Bad: As a consequence, it appears I am *not* authorized to release my
transcript.
Good: However, I am reliably informed that Senior Associates can access
an audio recording of his remarks on line. Feel free to contact Foresight
for the details.
If you aren't a Senior Associate yet, access to this recording is one more
reason to pony up the bucks. :)
I expect I'll be informed when/if the article is published. I'll let the
list know more when I do.
I apologize for my part in any disappointment. It was a good talk;
I'm sure the finished article will be worth the wait.
