Well, if you are going back 40 years, you must be alluding to Bader-Meinhof,
Red Brigades, Red Army Fraction--they were locals, you see? Islamist are
funded by equal mixture of petroleum and religious fanaticism and intolerance
of others' ways. They come from outside europe and that is a different kettle
of fish, altogether.
