Bloody bore being a pervert. Might be as exaggerated as the satanism lore
(huge rings of people doing child sacrifice, etc.) that has been circulating
through police departments for decades now. Might not.

PS: my use of the term "pervert" refers specifically to the idea that
"getting positive" is sexy--an idea I have heard expressed in the abstract
more than once in the last 16 years. I have no gripe with sane people who
like sex of any stripe.
