BTW of the
members presently on active duty in the US
armed forces there is a considerable range
of opinion on the issue of war with Iraq.

For my part....
Frankly we have no business sending Americans
(or IMHO anyone else, but I shan't speak for
other nations) to fight, kill or die in the
Middle East. This regardless of sanction and
permission by the UN or any other group.
War, particularly war waged as a response to
a nation which declines to allow it's own
sovreignty to be continually abrogated (and by
this I mean Iraq) by "disarmament" or "no-fly zones".
War with Iraq is an offense to any notion of
American honor or character.
It is a sickening thing, and I encourage those around
the world to encourage their governments to take no
part in America's folly.

Anyone who has a problem with this can send me their
DD 214 and perhaps I'll forgive them for being an
idiot.

regards,
Brian

BTW where is that fellow from Chicago who usually weighs
in as a hawk?
