< I once stated that when the war comes to the Aussie mainland, many
Australians will first blame America for getting it involved on the war on
terror, and thus making Australia a victim of Islamic "rage." I, indeed,
encountered this, right after the Bali attack >
Bali is not part of the Australian mainland.
Bali is part of Indonesia, and contains the largest Hindu population on the
planet.
The terrorist bombers have apologized (?!) for the number of `innocent
bystander' Australians killed in the attack; they thought the tourists they
were killing were predominantly Americans. This applies equally to the
Australians (and many other nationals) slain in the WTC attacks: collateral
damage.
