Well, I could try using Mr. Gatto's reasoning that our public schools are
extremely good at accomplishing the job they have set out to do -- but that
is more along the lines of driving square pegs into round holes than it is
along the line of educating the children. Gatto taught 30 years in the
public schools and has the most negative attitude toward them I have ever
encountered.
