Anders,
I suggest you might like to read John Taylor Gatto's Dumbing us Down
before you go very far with that idea. Mr. Gatto distinguishes between
families & communities on the one hand and networks on the other.
According to Mr. Gatto a lot of the failures in modern societies comes
from trying to construct networks to replace communities and families. He
seems well worth considering.
