Yes and that is what I worry about. I suspect we will
eventually realize as a species that CO2 in the atmosphere
is not a pollutant but rather a valuable resource. The
silly Gaians will convince the world to sequester CO2 in a
way that is difficult to undo. Then too late, we will realize
there are other and better ways to deal with any negative
effects of increased CO2 in the atmosphere. Gaseous CO2 is a
a blessing in a very thin disguise: it supports more plant
life, which supports more animal life, which is a good thing.
