[ mod's note: our firm just helped out some friends with a
survey related to some of our consulting work... looks to
be an interesting study in adaptive computing, which we
would like to help circulate widely.


I am a graduate student doing research on the growth of adaptive computing
(neural nets, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, rule-based systems, etc.).
As part of my work I am doing a survey of programmers who work in both
adaptive and traditional procedural environments. I am looking for
respondents for the survey - which is aimed at professional production
programmers and will take about 20 minutes or less to complete. If you are
