IAN: What is "well-thought" and "well-researched"
can ONLY be determined by open debate. For those
whose thoughts and research are top-notch prior
to public review, any pretense of open debate
is caste aside and a carefully closed forum
is forged, protecting their inherently
superior knowledge from the ghastly
defilement of unclean thoughts
and research.

For those freed from the defilement of wrong
thought, unbroken protection from, and ignore-
ance of, contrary knowledge is necessary to
ensure that the fragile "true" and "pure"
knowledge of the elite survives.
