have ten tentacles, which should make them decapodes, (though I'm still wondering what that "e" is doing in there.)

Yep, I was waiting for someone to pick that up. If you want to include squids, then we are really seeking to uplift the Cephalopods. And let's not forget the cuttlefish and nautilus!<G>
