Happily, it seems religious fanatics spend too much time quarreling among themselves to take up a quarrel with extropy.

On the "No Singularity?" thread, John Clark agrees with Lyle Burkhead, who wrote:

This elicits the alternative theory that to religious fanatics (and who knows who else), extropians may appear just another non-threatening group of religious fanatics.
